Join us at New Blood Digital Festival 5–8 July. Four days of talks and insights will provide inspiration and practical tools, plus we'll be boosting the year's top talent with collated graduate shows and portfolio showcases.

Tuesday 6 July: Have a laugh - how to use humour in your creative work

Humour and creativity go hand in hand, but it can be a tricky skill to master. It’s so easy to fall wide of the mark when a work lands as twee, offensive or just not funny. This panel will explore how creatives can incorporate a sense of humour into their practice.

Questions we’ll discuss cover topics like: when humour really works (and when it doesn't), avoiding cliches, using humour for good, persuading clients to use it, and some general tips on how to inject humour into your own projects.

Talks will be completely free, live and available to watch here: https://www.dandad.org/en/d-ad-new-blood-festival/

You can register to be reminded of the event here.
