At this months Design x Business we're talking Insurance, Contracts & Legal.
Whether you're a freelancer or studio owner - you need to be insured, have solid contracts and understand your legal rights. We’ll be joined by Dan Moore of Studio Output who will give a talk on his stories and learnings from 20 years of running creative businesses. We'll also be joined by Ashley Baxter, founder of insurance platform WithJack, who will be giving practical advice on insurance for creative businesses. The talks will wrap up with a panel discussion and Q&A.

Dan Moore, Studio Output
Dan has twenty years' experience running creative businesses spanning design, branding, digital and motion. In 2002 Dan set up the agency, Studio Output in 2002 where he's responsible for business strategy, sales & marketing for his companies, he also deals with anything and everything around contracts, money, copyright and insurance alongside his finance direction. Dan also runs Found, a creative studio specialising in high-end film production and 3D motion design and founded creative community Glug.
Ashley Baxter, WithJack
Ashley Baxter is building With Jack, an insurance platform that helps keep freelancers in business by supporting them financially and legally if they have problems with a client. Ashley likes video games, photography, weightlifting and her dog, Indie. She gets excited when talking about insurance and is based in Glasgow, Scotland.
