Hear industry experts in the world of resale, rental, gaming and blockchain address the way that brands should adapt to new ownership models

The relationship with our clothes and the products we invest in is fundamentally changing. Across many categories, we have demonstrated an appetite to shift away from traditional ownership to newer ways of accessing products.

The life span of fashion products is being stretched as preowned, refurbished, repaired, and rental business models continue to evolve. This shift is driven by growing consumer desire for variety, sustainability, and affordability. Already, the resale market is predicted to overtake fast fashion within ten years.
Ownership isn’t changing just in the real world. Our relationship with digital goods is evolving as well. Once seen merely as a skin to dress a player within a game, virtual fashion and accessories in-games and on social media are getting the increased interest of the public.

We have invited industry experts in the world of resale, rental, gaming and blockchain to address the way that brands should adapt to new ownership models. We will cover everything, from rental to digital fashion and blockchain traceability as well as how we expect this consumer behaviour to evolve in 2021 and beyond.

Who's this event for?
Anyone wanting to understand trends in consumer behaviour, especially in relation to the fashion, retail and beauty sectors, and for anyone who wishes to find out more about how to approach innovation and plan for the future.

Alex Russman is Director of Business Development at Enjin, a leading blockchain ecosystem with a suite of user-first products that enable anyone to easily create, manage, trade, store, explore, distribute, and integrate blockchain assets.

Eshita Kabra (Founder, By Rotation)
Inspired by a love for fashion that doesn’t weigh on her conscience and with an approach grounded in practicality over indulgence, Eshita founded By Rotation as a side hustle in April 2019. Having travelled to her motherland Rajasthan, India for her honeymoon and witnessed the first-hand effects of textile waste, Eshita felt compelled to change, and bring about change. As an investment professional with over 6 years of experience, she combines her commercial experience with her passions for fashion and graphic design.
A “third culture kid” (India, Singapore, US and UK), Eshita is especially focused on creating a conscious and inclusive community that democratises fashion and does not harm the planet.

In March 2020, she was named as one of the "14 Inspiring Women Leading The Fight Against Climate Change" by Refinery29 alongside Greta Thunberg, Stella McCartney, Ellen MacArthur and Dr Jane Goodall.

Callum Bramley, founder & CEO, Garmentry
Callum is the founder and CEO of menswear rental brand Garmentry, which uses the excess stock from luxury brands.

As a robotics graduate, he worked for numerous tech companies globally such as Huawei in Beijing, before being voted one of the top young engineers in the world for his work in AI to help dementia patients.
He has also worked with some of the biggest fashion retailers in the UK as part of Streamoid - startup which uses AI in fashion retail to improve ecommerce and operations.
