Organised by Leica

The Leica Akademie can trace its origins back to the founding of the ‘Lehr-Atelier Wetzlar’ (Wetzlar Teaching School) in 1934. Since then, Leica has been committed to helping photographers learn and perfect the skills necessary to take great pictures and this tradition continues today with the Leica Akademie.

Designed with this concept in mind a Leica Bespoke is a one-to-one bookable lesson that can be tailored to your learning requirements. Any photographic subject can be discussed. Typical topics covered include introductions to your new or prospective Leica camera, understanding exposure, learning how to edit and process your images, or exploring a particular style of photography such as portraiture, landscape, black and white or street.

Bespoke sessions are available in-person at our dedicated Leica Store Harrods Akademie classroom (5th Floor, Technology) or online from 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Online sessions are conducted via Zoom video call. Instructions on accessing Zoom will be provided with your booking.

Please note the price of a bespoke workshop is £100 per hour.
