Celebrating Summer in the City with our iconic London design, originally produced in 1964, an exquisite memento of our elegant city. Richard Allan’s story began in 1962 when he established his eponymous design house. Taking a classic accessory, he created silk scarves for a dynamic new age - the Sixties - using bold, abstract designs and a maverick colour palette, it was an overnight hit. His scarves sold internationally, London, Paris, New York, and around the globe. A golden, or more accurately psychedelic era, with designs that are timeless. His daughter Cate continues to treasure the extensive archive, revitalising the designs with fresh colour palettes and a modern gaze, making beautiful accessories for you and your home.
