Account Manager
Reporting to the Account Director, this role is for an Account Manager position sitting as part of the ‘Music and Culture team. We are building a dynamic, responsive and collaborative team, aimed to find solutions and unique ways of working to create an optimal workflow between agency and client to deliver both best in class media executions and client servicing.
The role will be working across clients including the likes of UKTV and Penguin, all core clients to the team. There is a heavy focus on brand media, across all media channels. Across each working closely with the clients and client creative partners to create integrated campaign activations.
Success in role requires a blend of experience, intelligence and talent in multi-discipline media, client management, market liaison and commercial opportunities. As a key member of a talented team you will be involved in the development and application of planning principles, innovation and media best practices, media performance support, reporting, training and brand strategy. Your role will involve working directly with clients, agency partners and internal specialist agency divisions.
Job Description
The position requires a minimum of 3+ years working within a media agency environment. We need an enthusiastic and pro-active candidate who is accustomed to the pressures and quick turnarounds of key account handling across all media. The candidate should showcase specific skills and experience relating to digital buying and planning and must show a proficient level of knowledge in this discipline. Experience in managing campaigns, and familiarity with insight tools such as TGI, Comscore, YouGov etc. would be beneficial. We are also looking for someone who is creative and heart – can think of big and innovative ideas and has the skills to go and put these ideas out into the real world.
Due to the nature of our agency and business, the candidate must have good communication skills; able to multi-task to an exceptional level; good organisational skills and understand that a high level of service to our clients is expected.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Primary Focus: Develop a strong relationship with clients built on expertise, confidence, trust, enthusiasm and reliability of their business.
  • Ensure all campaigns are managed and executed to an exceptional standard.
  • Manage briefs, ensuring client stakeholders are receiving highest level of service and collaboration from the agency
General Work:  Day to day communication of updates and maintenance to both clients and agency departments involved in products.
  • Campaigns in brief.
  • Managing delivery of live campaigns and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Anticipating milestones and requirements on live campaigns are achievable, to ensure both client and agency departments are prepared in advance.
  • Reactive to adapt plans when circumstances change (release dates, budgets) and brief accordingly.
  • Ensuring all standard client requirements are delivered correct and on time (contact reports, monthly competitive reviews, online status reports).
  • Manage product lifecycle from media briefing to media strategy to planning and implementation.
Client Service: Presence at clients’ offices on a regular basis to sustain an elevated level of client service and partnership.
  • Attending kick-off meetings with all marketing agencies and clients.
  • Work with senior team to produce strategy and planning bespoke to each international territory
  • Work with senior team to present market, competitive and post-campaign analysis
  • Research and help organise media workshops with client marketing departments.
  • Ensure weekly round-ups of agency work is communicated in a concise and clear way.
Agency responsibilities: Ensure communication within the team at Havas Entertainment is standard practice to ensure information is dynamic for strategy and planning.
  • Attendance of regular Havas Entertainment events and wider industry events and learnings.
  • Work closely with other relevant teams around Havas – maintaining a good relationship and ways of working. This includes finance teams, insight teams and specialist activation teams.
