The Role
We are looking for a passionate and visionary Associate Director for Learning & Engagement to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Global Head of Talent Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a learning and engagement strategy that aligns with our company's goals and values, and supports our future ambition.  We are seeking a leader that can operate with agility, has a passion for continuous learning & development, and puts the employee experience at the heart of what they do. This exciting new role is essential to developing our organisation’s capabilities and skills, using insight to help every individual here thrive, and enabling our employees to support our ambitious plans for the future.
The Team
You will be part of the Global Talent Management team, that has a presence in New York, London and India and is responsible for Leadership, Performance, managing our Talent and Succession plans as well as Learning & Engagement. Additionally, you will also be part of the wider global People Team.
What will you be doing?
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global, inclusive  learning and engagement strategy that supports Condé Nast’s goals and fosters a culture aligned to our Nast Values.
  • Global Collaboration: Working closely with functional and market teams to understand priorities aligned to our global strategy and ensure consistency, simplicity and alignment across locations.
  • People Management: Inspire, develop and energise a high performing team across markets to support the Learning & Engagement team goals
  • Learning & Development: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programmes to develop knowledge, skills and inclusive behaviours for our employees.
  • Employee Engagement: Oversee the  Annual Engagement survey and partner with leadership and employees to use insight to drive initiatives to enhance our employee experience.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage technology and digital learning to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of learning initiatives making smart decisions to drive simplicity and effectiveness.
Who you are:
  • You're a strategic thinker with experience of working in a matrix, global environment
  • You have experience of managing people and leading teams where you operate with energy, challenge and support.
  • You have strong learning design and delivery experience.
  • You’re a strong communicator and you thrive on collaboration and working with others.
  • Employee engagement is your passion, and you love creating environments where people can grow and succeed.
  • You have experience and understanding of building employee engagement in a global organisation.
  • You are creative, innovative and are comfortable in fast-paced changing environments.
Where will you be?
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our beautiful Adelphi office, with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
