THE ROLE
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer at Boohoo group, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will design, develop, and deploy BI solutions that empower stakeholders across the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will use your expertise to create dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that support the rapid growth of our business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
Create data models and develop custom visualisations using Power BI.
Optimise Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
Implement and manage data security within Power BI.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into BI platforms.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI solutions.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate financial data into the data warehouse.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet their needs.
Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other BI tools.
Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Power BI and BI best practices.
Propose and implement improvements to existing BI processes and solutions.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in business intelligence development, with a strong focus on Power BI.
Experienced in working with financial data and developed financial reports and dashboards.
Solid experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Proficient in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visualisations.
Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
An analytical thinker and love problem solving.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
