The Paramount Technology Department supports our global content Company to deliver a high-quality viewing experience, system infrastructure support, and crafting innovative ways for our employees to collaborate. What will you be doing?
This position is responsible for supporting production facilities and teams based in London. The role will include:
  • Supporting the work of the Production Technology Team
  • Support of post-production and studio facilities
  • Support of cloud-based post-production infrastructure, workflow and creative users
  • Must be confident and experienced in a post-production environment including Adobe, Avid, ProTools
  • Must be confident and experienced on both PC and Apple hardware and operating systems
  • Provide support of Apple infrastructure and equipment roll-outs
  • Flexible start and finish times when required to coincide with studio shoots and prep days
  • First line support and resolution of technical issues
  • Supporting technology for internal corporate events
  • Pre-emptive and reactive maintenance of equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both with creative clients and the Production Technology and all engineering teams
  • Be able to raise problems optimally and clearly
  • When required to undertake engineering admin, such as shipping and returns and technical drawings.
  • Align with all relevant health and safety rules and guidelines across the facility.
  • A teammate who can work well both within the studio team and with the various productions we support
  • Coordinate your own workload optimally and maintain records if required.
What are we looking for?
Basic Qualifications (3 bullets, required/must have):
  • Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced production environment
  • Understanding of technical post-production and studio operations
  • The ability to react quickly in a support situation as well as a methodical approach to pre-emptive maintenance
Additional Qualifications (bullets):
  • You must be able to think logically and be able to prioritise and resolve support issues, and know when to escalate as appropriate
  • A teammate with great communication skills, with both technical colleagues and creative staff
  • A desire to learn and develop
