About the role
The Chelsea Magazine Company is recruiting a Digital Content Writer to work across its portfolio of specialist brand websites.
Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will work on posting SEO-optimised content to websites for a variety of brands.
Key responsibilities will include:
Writing and posting SEO-optimised content to CMC brand websites.
Together with Digital Content Writers working in CMC’s digital publishing hub, you will be responsible for ensuring website content output is sufficient to grow online audiences.
Creating new content based on keyword research, and repurposing new and archive magazine features that have been optimised for SEO.
Working alongside the email marketing team to grow database sign ups to CMC’s newsletters.
Working with the advertising sales team to proof, upload, and potentially create, sponsored content and online advertorials
Requirements
Journalism skills and a passion for writing and creating online content
Proven experience creating content for a digital audience
An understanding of SEO best practices and digital content optimisation
Experience in scheduling, posting, and creating website content
