The Commercial Marketing team supports the UK-based sales team to generate advertising revenue for ITV. They do this by producing engaging B2B marketing campaigns, using video, events and website content. Key customers are media agencies and advertisers.
The marketing assistant will play a key role supporting the wider commercial marketing team. You’ll keep on top of the commercial inbox, fielding enquiries to the relevant people, you’ll create content and updates across our key channels and assist in the delivery of larger campaigns and events. You’ll enjoy being challenged and constantly learning new skills as well as being part of a busy and dynamic team.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
The ability to be digitally savvy and who wants to learn more about websites and social media marketing
Passion for writing and a desire to improve their copywriting and proofreading skills
Good organisation skills, ability to prioritise workload
Ambition to develop their networking skills and relationships with colleagues and external contacts
Someone who is able to offer creative and insightful ideas in supporting us to develop our projects
Someone who is able to work well on their own, use their initiative and work as part of a team and who is quick to learn and passionate about TV, ITV and the Marketing community
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
A keen Interest in media, marketing and advertising
Experience in video and photo editing software and/ or events is a plus but not a necessity
Numerate and comfortable analysing simple data sets (e.g. campaign performance metrics)
