Job Description :
Havas London are looking for a talented Creative Producer to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Take ownership of small-medium sized briefs (with oversight by line manager) and demonstrate your control over the project from briefing to delivery.
  • Demonstrate ability to implement different processes or methodologies on your projects based on the best approach for the task.
  • Demonstrate your ability to prioritise your workload and projects.
  • Begin to demonstrate your ability to manage stakeholders, team members and key resources through the end to end delivery of campaign assets.
  • Know the agency process and work to it. Advocate and flag the agency process as required to cross-functional teams..
  • Ensure you are reccing projects throughout and proactively communicating the projects financial status to your CPD and account team. Plan for risk and actively manage and flag risks before they become issues. Actively manage issues before they become uncontrollable problems.
  • Understand the differences between risks and issues. Start to identify Risks & Issues and demonstrate your ability to tackle issues when they come up.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills in order to manage the projects in the agreed timeframe.
  • Ability to ballpark costs and timings based on some logic.
  • Develop a good understanding of production deliverables across Print, Digital and Social and demonstrate this in delivering these assets for your projects.
  • Develop an understanding of the Art buying process working with Senior Creative Producer and CPD’s.
BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
  • Communicate with department leads to create a collaborative and respectful approach to creating work.
  • Demonstrate a curious and collaborative attitude towards other departments. Showing a desire to understand their challenges and how we can help solve them.
  • Role model and help more junior members of the team to adopt this approach.
  • Develop strong working connections to perpetually push ideas to ensure we’re all aiming for the best work and discovering all possible ways to get there.
  • Build relationships with Creatives and CD’S
CREATIVITY
  • Inspire your teams, have a constant feed of things that are inspiring and relevant to your teams for their growth and innovation.
  • Continue to search for interesting new work and references.
  • Demonstrate your creative passion, and encourage team members to be passionate about things they are excited about.
  • Be proactive in discussing different ways we can approach the production with creatives so not every production is the same - we always strive for the new.
  • Understand how to achieve the best creative output by bringing in the right specialists at the right time to advise and guide.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
  • Develop strong negotiation skills.
  • Be aware of your projects financial health and report burn rate issues to CPD’s and Account teams.
  • Ability to assess when something is a change vs amend or requires additional monies & issue costs and track budgets accordingly.
  • Ensure client services are accountable for project finances and discounts.
  • Ensure you are accountable for project profitability.
CRAFT
  • Liaise closely to ensure all your solutions are grounded with a rational foundation.
  • Learn to spot further production opportunities within the brief where appropriate.
EXPERIENCE AND MILESTONES IN THE ROLE
  • Start to take on medium sized projects from inception to delivery with support.
  • Gain experience in Art buying with SCP and CPD support.
  • Continue to gain experience across print, digital, and social asset deliveries.
  • Build relationships with Creatives and CD’S
  • Commercially aware and know the importance of estimating correctly for your projects.
