The A Side: A Day in The Life
Reporting to the Senior CRM Executive, this role will work closely with our label teams to help deliver best in class CRM communications for our artists, with a focus on building, testing and deploying campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have experience using CRM platforms for deployment, email builder tools and email HTML editing skills, as well as an understanding of link tracking and basic image editing software.
The role will support across the following areas:
  • Building and deploying email and mobile campaigns across the UMG roster
  • Image manipulation to use in CRM campaigns and data acquisition activities
  • Maintaining and updating artist branding and content across sign up forms and automated messages
  • Creating, suggesting and editing custom audiences for targeting
  • Setting up new artists within our CRM platform, email template system and other UMG technology
  • Auditing and updating consumer journeys, ensuring content is relevant and tracking implemented
  • Creating content blocks within our dynamic email content tool and managing testing and support queries directly with our account team
  • Maintaining best practices and compliance across campaigns
  • Collating adhoc reports of CRM activities as required
  • Quality testing across browsers, ESPs, and devices.
  • Troubleshooting HTML, CSS, and other performance issues
  • Assisting with data acquisition campaigns, ensuring data is feeding through and being attributed correctly
  • Testing new features within our CRM platform and feeding back on potential improvements as well as troubleshooting with our platform developers
  • Working closely with our Ecommerce team to assist and test integrations, and support with CRM messaging around store promotions
  • Auditing and amending data collection and providing reports on acquisition activities from all key artist touch points including artist websites, stores, socials and activations
The B Side: Skills & Experience

Essential:
  • Experience using CRM platforms for email deployment and audience creation
  • Ability to edit basic HTML for email
  • Image resizing and text editing in Photoshop
  • Understanding of link tracking parameters and formatting requirements
  • IT skills including competency across all Microsoft packages, especially Excel
  • Awareness of Consumer Relationship Marketing and the part data plays within the marketing environment
Desirable:
  • Experience using dynamic content builders e.g. Movable Ink
  • Knowledge of or experience working in the music industry
  • A good working knowledge of Google Analytic tools, tracking parameters & analysis.
  • Experience using WordPress and / or plugins
  • Pro-Active & confident communication skills with all levels of management
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms i.e. Shopify
  • Experience creating reports of email activity and producing recommendations
  • Proven experience working with technical teams to debug issues
  • Experience using project management software e.g. Monday.com or Trello
  • Previous use of enterprise level link tracking software
Person Specification
  • Digitally savvy with good awareness of CRM and comfortable with systems and technology
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, able to manage expectations and provide support or guidance on the CRM platform where necessary
  • Interest in music with a knowledge of current trends and Universal Music roster
