About the role
Our Delivery team plays a vital role within our Business, as they are responsible for enabling our business to achieve our strategic OKRs to reach our goal of being the ultimate gifting companion. They are responsible for ensuring exceptional end to end delivery of a wide range of projects across technical and non technical functions on time and to a high level that meets stakeholders expectations - which has a direct impact on our customer experience, and overall profitability as a business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Overall the Delivery Lead will work with the Business and the Product/Tech teams to deliver projects using the appropriate agile/waterfall/hybrid methodologies to ensure the smooth delivery across a number of different projects, which can vary in terms of size, scale and complexity.
Ultimately the Delivery Lead will work with the OKR leads, project teams and varying stakeholders across the business, including product and the tech teams to help enable the delivery or be responsible for the delivery of one or more concurrent projects end to end, ensuring best practise and appropriate delivery methods are used to ensure that most cost effective, timely and all parties are aligned and working towards the same goal making certain the appropriate solutions (application, infrastructure and/or process) are developed to fulfill the business requirements, in the most timely and efficient manner.
The Delivery lead may also be responsible for traditional project/delivery management for projects in the business, which will require the candidate to be flexible by using various project delivery mgt skills, also getting involved with the delivery of operational efficiencies across the product and tech community
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management delivery:
  • Work to deliver a wide range of both technical and non technical projects on time and at a level that meets stakeholder expectations.
  • Adept at delivering technical projects, breaking down barriers for your team, and both planning at a high level and getting into the detail to make things happen when needed
Change management:
  • Be adaptable in your approach when time, scope and resource changes and know when to flex and how to manage expectations. Be able to work in a truly agile environment for a business that is evolving
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • You will be able to work with full transparency and be able to effectively communicate to your stakeholder group
  • You will build a good reputation within both the technology function as well as the broader Moonpig team.
  • You’ll succeed by engaging colleagues of all levels, knowing who to talk to and how to communicate with different functions
  • Ensuring collaboration, transparency, planning and good communication are key to each successful delivery
You'll be a great addition to the team if you:
  • 3-4 years of experience of agile delivery mgt and project mgt of non agile business projects of both successful delivery of Agile technical deliverables
  • Experience of working on non-technical projects is a plus
  • Experience using the appropriate project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid
  • Worked in or have an awareness of agile teams and understand the principles behind agile delivery
  • You will need to have the ability to adapt and be flexible with the delivery methodology used for each deliverable
  • You have worked within a number of agile teams to support with the delivery of company OKRs, have the ability to coordinate work across many agile and business teams in conjunction with the Engineering and Product Manager
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Confident delivering process led as well as technology led deliverables and conversant with change management principles
  • Can develop highly effective relationships with colleagues at all levels in the organization to deliver the optimal solution, escalate where necessary to ensure the deliverables are completed in a manner that delivers the best outcome for the organization
  • Proactively take responsibility, taking ownership of issues that arise and follow through to resolve them (getting the required result)
  • Will take advantage of every opportunity to communicate relevant information, whilst remaining mindful of the audience (e.g. translate complex/technical issues to meet the audience’s competency level)
  • Have experience with project management tooling such as Jira, Confluence, and also have the skills to adapt to google sheet driven project planning
  • You have a sound understanding of digital and high transactional e-commerce landscape
