Tatler is looking for a Deputy Features Editor brimming with ideas for agenda-setting stories to join its features department.
The successful candidate must have experience on the editorial desk of a magazine or a national newspaper, as well as an excellent contact book. You’ll have experience commissioning and editing articles and a good knowledge of Tatler type figures. A reporter's aptitude for storytelling and willingness to hit the phones for quotes, to fix up interviews and features is a must.
Commissioning, editing and writing features
Working closely with the Features Director to ensure deadlines are hit
Seeking out headline-grabbing scoops
Writing snappy, witty and engaging features
Writing topical features for Tatler.com
Exceptional ability to produce engaging and agenda-setting features
Knowledge of society figures
Interest in the subjects Tatler covers
Excellent communication skills
