The DAA provides strong administrative support to the Design team as well as design based tasks. Reporting into Designer/Senior level, they work collaboratively across the design departments including with the other DAA’s and the wider team. You will be an integral part of the team. Strong relationships will be built with Buying counterparts too.
PLM management including, uploading of tech packs/artworks, colours, setting up of BOMS and training new team members where necessary
Email and supplier correspondence
Sample management from brought to development samples
Approval of trims, strike-off’s, artworks & lab dips
CP management
Ensure design and creative areas are kept presentable and tidy
Colour Palette work including creating colour palettes, ordering colours and colour management processes
Support the teams setting up seasonal Miro boards, build garment range boards, keep boards updated during the creative process, archive at the end of each design block
Sketch into samples/shapes/prints/logos, dropping in print where directed
Embroidery & artwork packs
Research into competitors and inspirational brands
Meeting prep: before internal meetings be on hand to help set up rooms with print outs and/or samples
Accurate note taking in meetings
Design tracker management
