The Role
The Digital Editorial Intern, The World of Interiors is a key member of the small, busy digital editorial team, reporting into the Digital Director. They will support all aspects of digital content creation, across platforms (website, newsletter, social media etc). This is an opportunity for someone looking for a valuable first step in digital publishing, in an historic publication at a crucial moment in its development.
What will you be doing
  • Upload stories (images, copy, film) onto the website
  • Picture research for digital stories and social posts
  • Basic image editing where required (training can be provided)
  • Editorial feature research & pitching feature ideas
  • Copywriting
  • Editorial administration and team assistance
  • SEO research (training can be provided)
  • Supporting organisation and behind the scenes footage capture on photo and film shoots when required
  • Keeping abreast off all digital trends and developments
  • Liaising with the print, art, commercial and editorial teams to ensure the best possible content is produced in the digital space
  • Supporting the digital associate, contributing digital editor and digital director in any reasonable way
  • Assisting with other departments, including print editorial, where required
Who you are
  • Demonstrable interest in design, decoration, arts, travel and culture
  • Fascination with digital storytelling, and a desire to work in digital media
