The opportunity

Join University of the Arts London (UAL) and play a pivotal role leading the UAL Online launch.
UAL Online allows students to develop their creative expertise from anywhere in the world, offering the flexibility to study wherever it suits them, from short courses to post graduate courses.
As Digital Product Director for UAL Online, you will drive UAL’s digital strategy forward, creating and delivering innovative digital services that support exceptional learning, research, and creativity.
In this senior position, you will drive the digital product portfolio for UAL Online within our Digital and Technology group, collaborating with key stakeholders to align our digital services with our mission to reach new audiences around the world and bring creative education to more people than ever before.
Working closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor UAL Online and the Chief Digital Officer, your strategic leadership will steer the design, development, and continuous improvement of our digital platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for students, academics, and professional staff. You will lead a high-functioning, multidisciplinary team and forge collaborative partnerships to deliver transformative digital services.
About you
  • You are an experienced leader in digital product strategy, with a track record of delivering impactful, innovative digital services.
  • With a sharp strategic vision and proven ability to lead diverse teams, you thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at influencing cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
  • Your expertise in digital service design, budget management, and governance complements your passion for creating inclusive, resilient digital experiences that resonate with users.
  • A visionary, you understand the unique digital needs of higher education and are prepared to drive UAL’s Online journey forward with creativity and purpose.
