Havas Market is Havas Media Group’s specialist e-commerce arm which provides support to clients, end to end across all their digital retail channels. We combine expert execution skills, powerful technology/data analytics and strategic consulting skills to deliver above market growth and help clients outmanoeuvre competitors. As such, engagements are multi-channel (D2C, marketplace, Social Commerce), multi-product (managed service, advisory and/or tech/tools) and multi-national.
The Role:
This role is a newly formed position which is designed to drive forward and grow our Amazon proposition. We are looking for a unique talent in the industry, someone who can navigate the complex and multi-faceted landscape of Ecommerce but more importantly guide your team as they lead the day-to-day management of their Amazon accounts ensuring we deliver best in class outputs for our clients.
This role will very much be at a strategic level and client facing, so the ability to take complex and fast-changing concepts and translate them into simple solutions is essential. You will work alongside the Ecommerce Strategy Partner to set out the strategy for new and existing clients, develop our client partnerships to be our clients’ #number 1 trusted partner, all whilst helping to shape the direction of Havas Market’s growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Senior client lead, building strong client relationships and driving forward proactivity and innovation, whilst ensuring best in class activation and delivery.
  • Lead Amazon strategy and planning and ensuring best in class delivery from your team.
  • Using in depth planning experience and industry knowledge to develop and deliver well thought out connected Amazon plans.
  • Proactively develop and mentor an Amazon organic team providing support and guidance for their professional growth and development.
  • Understand the needs of the client’s business and ensure recommendations and ideas put forward align with their short and long term business goals.
  • Support, oversee and evaluate responses and proposals brought forth by more junior team members and apply a more advanced lens based on knowledge of client’s business (sales, targets, broader business goals)
  • Works with a partner to identify client growth opportunities, proactively pursuing these opportunities and making them a reality, driving new commercial opportunities for the client and Havas Group.
  • Support and oversee the development of Business Plans for your respective clients with key timings against initiatives and expected meaningful business outcomes.
  • Overseeing the development of client Road Maps, and work with the Ecommerce Director to ensure Testing trackers are developed for all clients.
  • Able to use and demonstrate the use of tools in appropriate circumstances. Can direct team in appropriate sources of information to test hypotheses or find information and upskill them.
  • Create clear measurement frameworks and set out guidance for appropriate KPIs to assess the viability of plans.
  • Works with specialist team leads and Partner to manage hours dedicated to the account to ensure profitability.
  • Contribute to new business pitches (internal and external), briefing teams, gathering insights and supporting to develop the strategy.
Essential skills and experience:
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are essential.
  • Very strong operational knowledge of Amazon organic including Vendor and Seller Central, Content and knowledge of how paid and organic work together to drive overall business growth.
  • Strong organisation and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication, listening and presenting skills.
  • Regularly gives constructive feedback to the team and reports, understanding how the needs of one individual differ from another.
  • Experience with people management, coaching and mentoring, and getting the most out of your team, delegating authority to match their teams job level and holds them accountable.
  • Very strong experience in a client facing role & ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate these into commercial strategies.
  • Someone with a positive attitude who will help build a passionate culture in our team.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
