Burberry is seeking a Fabric Assistant for a maternity contract, to support the Fabric Development team in delivering the end to end fabric development process in their respective collection.
Input and update PLM systems to ensure precise collection data.
Work closely with Fabric Developers to foster strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely and budget-friendly shipments.
Prepare and maintain fabric pages for collection boards and fabric bibles.
Organise and archive fabric materials, ensuring the library is up to date and easily accessible.
Enter and maintain accurate fabric information in databases and files.
Organise and manage the fabric library while supporting the development and design teams with key fabric details.
Raise purchase orders in SAP for fabric sample lengths.
Fabric Development experience with a keen eye for detail.
Expertise in handling large data volumes accurately at speed.
Commercial awareness of fabric costs and budget tracking.
Clear, concise communicator who thrives in a collaborative team.
Flexible, proactive problem-solver who excels under pressure.
Highly organised with proficiency in PLM, Excel, and InDesign.
