The Focus of the Role:
Within this role, you will be producing and co-ordinating shoots for Grazia UK, including Fashion, Beauty and special projects. You'll also be key in the role to oversee/manage the yearly shoot budget and liaise closely with the Managing Editor.
This is hybrid role, being a mixture of working from home and attendance to our London office in Euston.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Style Director and Associate Editor to plan the shoot schedule at the beginning of each season, reporting directly to the Associate Editor
  • Manage the fashion budget, working closely with the Style Director and Managing Editor, costing individual shoots in line with yearly budget, processing invoices and creating annual production schedule
  • Collaborate with the fashion team and contributing fashion editors to come up with studio/location and story ideas for each shoot, drawing up a list of possible model options, photographers, hair/make-up etc
  • Work closely with photographers’ agents to secure best shoot dates, keep photographers’ fees within agreed budgets and to make sure edit and final images meet deadlines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with model, hair and makeup agencies to ensure that Grazia is always shooting with the highest calibre of model and HMU possible.
  • Keep team abreast of new faces and headliner models. Regularly seek out and meet with new talent
  • Supply all relevant production credits and check proofs for any errors or omissions
  • Work closely with the Beauty Director to plan shoot schedule at the beginning of each season and ensure in beauty budget
  • Collaborate with the Beauty team to come up with studio/location and story ideas for each shoot, drawing up list of possible photographers, model options, hair/make-up etc
What You'll Bring:
  • Competency working with Excel, budget spreadsheets and invoice handling
  • Excellent knowledge of a broad spectrum of agents, photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists and continually striving to identify future talent in relation to brand
  • Outstanding organizational skills and proficiency with numbers
  • Ability to work well within a team and able to edit and communicate ideas effectively
  • Creative, extremely proactive and ability to work effectively and efficiently with a discernible eye for GRAZIA brand values
