  • Positioning the business as a key stakeholder within the media policy sector with positive government relationships and a reputation for being helpful, insightful, reasonable and willing to partner to find solutions, shining a halo on business investments, achievements and initiatives.
  • Overseeing your manager’s diary and travel arrangements (and reconciling related expenses) and setting agendas and preparing papers for meetings.
  • Supporting the team’s development of positions and strategies around business priorities, potentially adverse trends/contagions and challenging rulemakings/political strategies. And keeping key stakeholders regularly informed.
  • Providing a weekly summary to your Manager of key political regulatory and policy developments and impacts for the business across EMEA.
  • The candidate will work closely with the Head of Global Government Relations and Public Policy for EMEA, business leaders, legal and corporate communications teams and will also partner with team colleagues in EMEA, the U.S., LATAM and APAC and external consultants engaged by the Global Government Relations and Public Policy team.
