Is this role for you? 
Reporting into the Vice President, International Programmatic Revenue, the Group Account Director will be responsible for pitching, negotiating and delivering best in class advertising solutions to agencies and clients to drive revenue growth across our Channel 5’s BVOD service My5.
This role will require the development of strategies and creative solutions to unlock investments at agency and advertiser level. Strong relationships with agencies and clients at a senior level is a must.
What will you be doing? 
Strategic Leadership and Business Development
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize advertising revenue across Paramount's digital and streaming platforms in the UK market.
  • Identify and pursue high-value new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential new clients.
  • Provide expert guidance on converged advertising strategies, with a focus on My5, PlutoTV, Paramount+, and YouTube.
  • Achieve ambitious quarterly revenue targets, focusing on client retention and scaling up the existing advertising book of business.
  • Work alongside existing PAI sales team and compliment and co ordinate GTM sales approach
Senior Client Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers at key brands and agencies in the UK digital advertising space.
  • Present high-level, compelling advertising proposals that showcase the unique benefits of Paramount's digital and streaming platforms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and lead strategic meetings with key clients to establish and maintain senior-level relationships.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of Account Directors and Account Executives specializing in digital and streaming advertising sales.
  • Mentor team members on industry best practices, emerging trends, and leadership skills in the UK streaming and digital video landscape.
  • Oversee account-level P&L and manage project scopes to ensure profitability across all digital platforms.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the sales team.
Strategic Platform Expertise and Innovation
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Paramount's digital and streaming ecosystem, including My5, PlutoTV, Paramount+, and YouTube channels.
  • Stay at the forefront of developments in digital video advertising, including programmatic, addressable TV, and advanced targeting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop innovative, high-value advertising solutions that leverage the unique features of each platform.
  • Provide strategic feedback to product, marketing, and senior management teams on market demand and new feature development.
Performance Management and Strategic Reporting
  • Oversee and analyse account-level P&L and project scopes to drive overall profitability
  • Develop and present high-level strategic insights on converged advertising strategies and platform performance to senior management.
  • Accurately forecast and plan new business and revenue growth, aligning with company-wide objectives.
  • Lead the development of strategic sales plans and initiatives to drive long-term growth and market share.
What are we looking for?
  • Advertising Sales: Extensive experience in agency advertising sales, with a strong focus on digital video and streaming platforms in the UK market.
  • Account Management: Proven track record of managing and growing major digital advertising accounts, demonstrating strong client relationship management skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the UK media landscape, particularly in streaming and digital video, including familiarity with key players and market dynamics.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with industry tools such as FreeWheel, ClearCast, and programmatic advertising platforms.
  • Sales Strategy: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and client engagement.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate complex data into actionable insights for clients.
