Description

About The Role
  • Ensuring commissioning is always done with a digital- first brief
  • Overseeing the production of digital assets visual leads/embeds/video
  • Working with commissioners and writers to ensure the production of those assets is to the highest possible standard
  • Overseeing the publishing flow to ensure content is published at the right time with the correct assets
  • Ensuring all stories are promoted on every relevant platform as effectively as possible (homepage/app/newsletters/social)
Key responsibilities
  • Working on improving headlines and sells and running headline tests
  • Working with the SEO team to ensure evergreen content is optimised for search and curated to build authority for Telegraph Health
  • Analysis of performance analytics to pinpoint best and worst performers so that the team are clear on how to improve commissions
  • Liaising with the wider features and lifestyle department
  • Running the content list and making sure publishing plans are on track
  • Managing the health production journalist and checking their work is done to the highest standard
  • Working on a digital strategy with the head of health features to drive subs and stars
Essential vs desirable skills required for the role
  • An excellent understanding of data tracker tools
  • Good understanding of publishing CMS
  • Good collaborative skills
