Our Internal Communications Executive – Channel Delivery is responsible for the delivery of colleague campaigns focused on our strategic outcomes and how our channels bring them to life. In this role you will help drive progress against our eight strategic commitments – and colleague engagement and customer satisfaction in particular – by ensuring our colleagues understand and believe in our purpose and strategy, and their role in helping to deliver on it.
You will be responsible for supporting the campaigns team to deliver colleague campaigns, focused on the progress we’re making against our strategic outcomes, that form part of a compelling narrative that connects everything we do to our purpose and strategy and helps to equip leaders to engage their teams in this. You will support the management of the campaigns channel plan, and how our channels bring campaigns to life. This will include supporting the development of creative ways to support leaders to have effective and regular face-to-face conversations with every colleague.
What outcomes do I need to deliver
Deliver colleague campaigns that build understanding and belief in our purpose and strategy and how we’re delivering on it
  • You will support the delivery of the internal communications strategy by effectively and efficiently coordinating communications across channels for our internal audiences, helping to build colleague understanding and belief in our purpose and strategy, and their role in helping to deliver on it
  • Support the team to design and deliver effective communication plans to meet business and audience needs and timelines
  • Deploy content across our internal communications channels, including intranet, colleague screens, and ensuring it reaches the right audience, as we take a more bespoke approach to our audiences
  • Support the Internal Communications Manager – Channel Planning to manage the internal communications channel plan
  • Produce supporting assets including videos, images, graphics and animations, in line with brand guidelines
  • Oversee agency/agencies to support on the creation of assets
  • You will occasionally provide out of hours support on time-critical projects
Develop our channels so that they meet the expectations of colleagues and drive our outcomes
  • Work with the wider Internal Communications team to shape the campaigns channel plan, so it reflects business priorities
  • Oversee the running of the day-to-day management of our Campaigns channels and content delivery with support from the Internal Communications Manager – Channel Planning
  • Support leaders to have effective and regular face-to-face conversations consistently with every colleague by owning and developing our campaign communication channels
  • Work with the Senior Internal Communications Manager – Continuous Improvement to measure the effectiveness of all communications, campaigns and channels to drive continuous improvement in our communications
What you need to know and show
  • Experience of using content creation software including Adobe Creative Cloud suite (e.g. InDesign, Premiere Pro and Affect Effects) (essential)
  • Understanding of internal communications practices and processes (essential)
  • A proven ability to build strong relationships across teams
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise and multitask autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
