The IT Production Coordinator (Internally called Business Analyst) is responsible for expertise and detailed understanding of Physical Production within the global Motion Picture Production and TV Production lines of business. .In this position you will act as the IT Production Co-ordinator, working remotely across all EMEA based productions, providing service management of the Global Service Catalogue and proactive relationship management to capture, analyse, and communicate Production needs. The BA ITPS acts as a representative for SPE IT and the studio, partnering with other SPE Corporate teams to deliver top-tier IT service, consultation, and support to our Productions.
This role requires acting as a crucial point of contact for business collaborators, collaborating closely with individuals at all levels of the organization, physical production product owners, and team members. You will collaborate closely with peer IT and corporate teams and/or regional teams to resolve business requirements and common needs for system and process changes. The role will build and communicate standard processes, ensuring that the needs of the physical production teams are understood by the Production Product Team.
You will require a combination of IT system implementation and strong Physical Production SME to handle key relationships, day-to-day application services and delivery of IT projects.
What you’ll do:
  • Serve as liaison between Productions and IT; translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal resources, 3rd party suppliers and delivery partners as required to fulfill requests and resolve issues.
  • Provide updates to Production Facts sheet and related project management documents.
  • Deliver in territory independently representing and partnering with, the Global IT Production Operations Team.
  • Familiarize oneself with and apply IT governance and standards, referring to Information Security, Information Governance standard processes as well as, SPE Policies.
  • Provide VIP support in conjunction with and on behalf of the Global Service Desk & EMEA Territory Services teams, acting as a point of escalation for incidents with high business impact.
What you have:
  • Knowledge of Motion Pictures and/or TV physical production process from pre-production to post.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Business analysis skills and experience.
  • Experience in IT service delivery.
  • Agile & Waterfall project management experience.
  • Comfortable and confident when communicating with collaborators both within and outside the company.
Nice to have:
  • Degree in a related Media or IT field.
  • Strong Vendor management experience.
  • Understanding or knowledge of the following technologies:

  • Scenechronize, Sync On Set, Asset Hub, Production Hub, Movie Magic budgeting, movie magic scheduling.
