Your New Role
As a valuable member of the Kids EMEA function, the Junior Executive will support the team which is responsible for reviewing content from WBD studios (Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Animation & Hannah-Barbera Europe), co-productions and 3rd party acquisitions to ensure that content on all platforms in EMEA meet WBD’s Guiding Principles, our Kids EMEA Brand Guidelines and local licencing regulations. The Junior Executive will be responsible for co-ordinating the editing function, as well as supporting with administrative duties and dealing with viewer and regulatory feedback.
Your Role Accountabilities
  • Support the wider team who review Kids content from WBD and third-party studios during production to ensure all editorial meets internal policies as well as Ofcom, RRTV, NICAM and other local licencing regulations.
  • Co-ordinate the editing process of Kids programming, composing detailed notes and occasionally editing content where required.
  • Assign age ratings and classifications for linear and non-linear content throughout EMEA.
  • Support the team in reviewing commercial material to ensure compliance with Ofcom and ASA regulations.
  • Create localisation guidance to ensure all languages across EMEA are compliant to relevant regulations.
  • Support the team with administrative duties, ensuring all internal systems are updated with key content information.
  • Co-ordinate with the Operations team to ensure all content arrives in accordance with internal deadlines to meet planned broadcast/streaming dates.
  • Help co-ordinate and prepare responses to all viewer and regulatory feedback.
  • Maintain relationships around the business, become a point of contact for content issues and help raise the profile of the team.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Enthusiasm for Kids content.
  • Analytical mindset and great organisational skills
  • Understanding of editing, with experience in Adobe Premiere an advantage.
  • Ideally some working knowledge of EMEA regulatory guidelines.
Additional Information
  • Role will be hybrid, with an expectation of being on-site at the WBD offices 3 days per week.
