We’re looking for a highly analytical, and detail-oriented Marketing Analyst who will be pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making, optimising marketing campaigns, and providing actionable insights to maximize the performance of our paid media initiatives across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook and other digital channels.
As a Marketing Analyst, you'll work closely with the Paid Media, Partnership, Propositions, Commercial and broader teams to analyse campaign performance, track KPIs, and develop reports that guide our strategy. You will have a deep understanding of performance metrics and be able to turn complex data sets into simple, actionable insights that drive growth and ROI.
Campaign Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the performance of paid media campaigns (search, social, display, etc.) by analysing data, identifying trends, and providing insights.
Data Collection & Reporting: Gather data from various platforms (Google Analytics, ad platforms, etc.) and create daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to track KPIs such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROAS.
A/B Testing: Assist in the design and execution of A/B tests to improve ad creative, targeting, bidding strategies, and overall campaign effectiveness.
Budget & Spend Tracking: Monitor ad spend across platforms, ensuring budgets are on track and providing recommendations for reallocation or optimisation.
Optimisation Recommendations: Collaborate with Paid Media team to suggest improvements to audience targeting, bid strategies, ad formats, and creative to drive better results.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activity to provide strategic recommendations.
Data Visualization: Create dashboards and visual presentations using tools like Power BI, or Google Data Studio to make data-driven insights easily digestible for stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other teams such as Editorial, and commercial to align paid media efforts with broader marketing and business goals.
Proven experience in a marketing analyst role, with a focus on paid media.
Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads etc.).
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other ad platforms.
Strong Excel skills for data analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization strategies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
