POSITION
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
  • As part of the Management Team, you will be a key player to steer the brand along the rest of the Management Team
  • Increase brand awareness and desirability to position Guerlain as a premium beauty brand through strong 360 marketing activations and PR support
  • Ensure brand elevated image consistency across all activations in store and off
  • Contribute to establish Guerlain as a three strong axes brand (Fragrances, Skincare & Makeup) while focusing on key assets
  • Build strong Marketing activation plans to increase market share within each retailer
  • Size right budget/investments /promotions/A&P to enable market share gain and customer recruitment
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
MARKETING PLAN & BUDGET
  • Yearly communication plan and strategy to gain PR rankings online and on print
  • With the objective to build best in class marketing activation: Yearly marketing activations per retailer in partnership with Retail and Sales Teams
  • Global marketing strategy and execution aligned with Region & HQ
  • Yearly pricing strategy to be reviewed with HQ and GM
  • 360 for new launches /key assets: VM, communication, promotions .
  • Retail by lines/ Net Sales by lines including monthly follow up
  • Monthly expenses follow up and monitoring
  • Budget: presentation, strategy, key focus sizing and activation planning
COMMUNICATION & BRAND IMAGE
  • Ensure global brand image is consistently exposed in United Kingdom & Ireland domestic market
  • Build an effective communication strategy aligned with HQ guidelines to increase brand desirability and recruit new customers on key franchises across all touch points
  • Merchandising to be constantly monitored to make sure brand image is super premium and supported with a best-in-class execution.
FORECASTS
  • Responsible for forecasts of all products Basic and New aligned with brand performance and strategy in partnership with the Retail & Sales Team in order to ensure KP ls are achieved.
  • Monitor closely forecast accuracy with supply team, GM and participate actively to Sales & operations meetings to achieve forecast accuracy targets
  • Propose any corrective action to GM/Regional team to minimize stock /inventory on saleable items and POSM.
  • Forecast and analysis of POSM (GWP, Samples & Testers, Merch Items) in line with commercial strategy and annual budget
TEAM MANAGEMENT
  • Develop a skilled Marketing team highly motivated and inspiring other
  • Collaborate very regularly with Marketing European team to make sure alignment with guidelines and strategies is observed
  • Communicate and support actively other teams such as Retail, Digital, Sales, CRM, Education to achieve targets
  • Trigger creativity, proactivity, and agility within your team

  • 10 years' experience in Marketing or Sales in luxury goods in retail industry and/ or FMCG
  • Proven team leadership and development
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK retail marketplace in beauty.
  • Proven track record of negotiations with key UK Beauty retailers.
  • Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar
  • Inherent interest & passion for
