Your role @ Chanel

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Media Executive at CHANEL. The successful candidate will support day to day paid media activities, including liaison with external agencies, internal departments and Global CHANEL teams.
What impact you can create at Chanel:
  • Taking leadership of all aspects of Media production and campaign delivery for UK and Ireland, with support of the Media Assistant to uphold Global CHANEL levels of excellence
  • Playing a vital role as the key point of liaison for the Global CHANEL Media teams on matters of creative, production and campaign guidelines
  • Showcasing your passion for detail by managing seamless budget tracking and financial reconciliation
  • Working with external agencies to ensure live campaigns are managed, optimized and quality is tightly controlled (through analysis of relevant data)
  • Expanding your media planning expertise by supporting the Snr Media Manager to help shape paid media briefings across all channels, encouraging best practice and challenging the status quo
  • Liaising with agency teams to deliver innovative and cost-efficient media solutions that protect and develop the brand equity and deliver to agreed objectives
  • Being actively involved in conversations on the future of Media, advertising technology, measurement and effectiveness to improve CHANEL’s media output
  • Collaborating with the other Media Executive and Media Assistant, to deliver key weekly Media workstreams such as tracking of industry trends and competitor activity, sharing live campaign updates, analysing performance data and preparing monthly media reviews

What you can bring to the team
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working at a media agency or in-house at a brand
  • Experience in the briefing, production and finance processes of paid media campaigns
  • An enthusiasm to learn, share your viewpoint and grow your professional outlook
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to excellence
  • Digital skills are a must, with strong knowledge of Digital Display, Social and Search channel roles and ad formats
  • Experience with competitor trend and data analysis highly desirable
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • A natural interest in Luxury, Fashion and Beauty
