Introduction
Jackson Daly delivers graphic and signage design to premium hospitality projects across the world.  Established over thirty years ago, Jackson Daly has completed projects with many leading hotel operators and renowned independent properties. Jackson Daly always aims to create a signage solution that is bespoke to each hotel to ensure it captures its character and brand requirements.

We are seeking a mid-weight wayfinding designer to join this new satellite location. Based at our Leeds studio, you will be working alongside the dynamic Northern team daily, while remaining well-connected to our main London office.

You will be part of a small but mighty multi-disciplinary creative group, working together to develop wayfinding strategies and signage designs that capture our client’s ambitions. As the core of our projects are based in the built environment, a background within this sector is a plus.

Your Day-to-Day
Our Leeds studio is a new venture that we are building with flexibility in mind. We operate a hybrid working model, with our core in-person days as Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, we offer flexible working hours to suit individual needs.

Alongside the Directors and design team you will be working on wayfinding projects from the initial concept and research phase through to detailed drawing and delivery. Each project requires an understanding of space, place and the ability to develop navigational solutions for a range of users. No two of our wayfinding projects are the same so your day will be varied as you work on a range of projects across unique global locations.

Ideally, you will be an expert in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and PhotoShop, with strong graphic design skills, especially typography and layout. If you can bring 3D skills for modelling and rendering (in any software) this is a plus, and experience with CAD, BIM and Revit even more so.
We’re seeking someone with excellent communication skills, both online and in-person.

Key Skills
Essential
High-level use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Degree in Graphic Design, Information Design or a related subject
Experience with wayfinding projects
Strong typographic and layout skills
Ability to interpret and apply branding design guidelines in creative ways
Good communication skills both online and in-person

Desirable
Experience with 3D modelling software and rendering
CAD, Revit and BIM use
Previous experience working alongside architects and industrial designers

Attributes
Enthusiasm for wayfinding and user experience

Successful candidates will be contacted for an initial first-stage interview conducted by video call. Second-stage interviews will then be conducted in person on-site in Leeds.
