Our corporate division are now seeking a talented Payroll Manager to join the UK HR Shared Services Team.

Reporting into: Global Head of Payroll & HR Shared Services
Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 months)

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing (but not limited to):
Management of the UK Payroll process including 1 direct report, working closely with the Global Head of Payroll and HR Shared Services and alongside the HR Shared Services Team
Responsible for the end-to-end Payroll Cycle for a Monthly payroll with circa 1000+ employees
Managing the relationship with the Payroll provider, ADP, including SLA reviews and KPIs
Managing the relationship with 3rd party vendors
Managing the year end process including but not limited to; FPS & EPS reporting, P11D and P11D(b) calculations and filing, P60s, P9Xs, PSAs, Apprenticeship Levy, Gender Pay Gap reporting etc..
Stay up to date with statutory requirements and changes and report to the business
Building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships with the HR team and the wider business
Work closely with the Reward Manager to manage and administer the company benefit schemes
Maintain and manage the pension contribution deductions and files
Manage the integration between our payroll system (ADP) and our HR system (Workday)
Work closely with the HRIS team to align any system changes with the payroll process
Managing complex starter, leaver and other ad hoc payment calculations as part of the full employee lifecycle
Monitor and maintain payroll and statutory compliance related policies and guidelines
The type of person we are looking for:
Proven experience in dealing with high volume payrolls in a fast-paced environment. Preferably 5+ years’ experience managing large volume payrolls in multi-functional businesses
Able to deal with complex payroll queries and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
A CIPP qualification or relevant experience is essential
Customer focused with a keen analytical eye / mindset
A problem solver and excellent communicator
Confident in word, excel and power point
Experience with ADP Global view or equivalent payroll systems and workday/SAP HR systems (nice to have)
