This role forms a key part of the Marketing team, helping to shape the future and driving Harvey Nichols vision to further consolidate the leading positioning of the Food, Beverage & Hospitality category. Working closely with the Head of Brand, Press & Marketing, the PR & Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering memorable and ground-breaking integrated campaigns and positive editorial coverage for the category and brand overall.
  • Assist the Head of Press, Marketing & Events in devising and delivering the overall Harvey Nichols UK PR and Marketing strategy and calendar, with an emphasis on Food, Beverage & Hospitality.
  • Managing end-to-end Food, Beverage & Hospitality campaigns across the Group.
  • Management and creation of the marketing calendar, ensuring all comms channels are aligned with relevant campaigns
  • Work closely with the food and beverage buying and concessions teams to deliver campaigns and activity to support the trading calendar, new brand launches and Food and Beverage category and maintain a good understanding of their priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creative, CRM, Digital Marketing, Social and other owned channels) to deliver integrated marketing plans and campaigns for Food, Beverage & Hospitality and ensure all creative assets are delivered and implemented for each campaign.
  • Support and collaborate with the Campaigns Manager to deliver brand and season campaigns
  • Define objectives and KPIs for each campaign and marketing initiative, and report on the results
  • Deliver each campaign on time and within budget.
  • Support and drive divisional promotional and sale activity
  • Plan and manage budgeting across the wider department.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media
  • Work proactively to identify opportunities and deliver positive editorial coverage in key defined titles
  • Support the wider team in the delivery of press launches and events, including planning, production and budget management
  • Support the Head of Press, Marketing & Events in financial announcements and crisis communications
  • Work with the buying and concession teams to identify key opportunities for editorial and draft appropriate press-facing material
  • Manage and develop the PR and Marketing Assistant
  • Support the marketing team in other areas, as and when required

  • Bachelor’s degree: Marketing or related (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant previous experience in Food and Beverage Marketing either client side or agency.
  • Experience developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Luxury experience desirable.
  • Experience managing people.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to effectively manage key working relationships.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about Marketing, food and beverage including digital.
  • Precise and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong business writing and presentation skills.
  • Be an exceptional team player.
  • Excellent persuading and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Demonstrate passion for the customer.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work in collaboration with various stakeholders.
