The Job

We are seeking a skilled Production Project Manager to join our in-house team and oversee a series of creative production projects and workstreams for our two brands; Flight Club and Electric Shuffle.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative production and procurement, with exceptional organisation skills plus the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and partners.

Working closely with the Head of DAP and DAP Manager, they will help deliver creative solutions for multiple venues (UK and International – USA and Australian), managing timelines of all projects, ensuring that both Red Engine and international franchise partners needs are met. You will be proactive, problem solving with an ability to identify risks, communicate challenges, and offer well balanced and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities


Planning

  • Project Management:Work alongside the team to create project plans that cover off all the relevant production and procurement deliverables and the how they tie in with the phases of a property build
  • Resource: Schedule timelines for projects, venue openings and production lead time and use the appropriate Creative process tools to plan in resource support. Implement processes used to help develop and streamline the workflow, ensuring that the relevant steps are planned in and agreed for any project or task

Production

  • Production Set pieces: Working with the wider team, receive creative direction, sign off technical production guides, send to tender, manage the budget of, timelines and production process
  • Signage:Send external and internal signage packages to suppliers for tender, manage the budget of, manage timelines and production roadmaps
  • Planting: Manage timelines, relationships with suppliers, budgets, and work with the wider team to manage the delivery and installation of all planting packages
  • Fine Art Scenic Artists: Manage the logistics, organisation and budget of fine art scenic elements as well as onsite access equipment if needed

Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Supplier Management: Managing and growing external supplier relationships,tender production items and negotiate quotes to remain on budget for both UK and International projects
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for Dressing and Production deliverables across all new venue openings and projects
  • Supply chain coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure processes are streamlined and anticipate and mitigate risks in the supply chain, keeping our production timelines on track and our projects running smoothly
  • Status updates: Update stakeholders and the wider Red Engine team on the status of Production Items, communicating updates throughout the production process for stakeholder sign off, installation dates and costing updates

Client Management (FC USA, FC AUS)

  • Work closely with our international franchise partners to ensure the successful project management and production of all new and existing venues.

Finance

  • Budgeting: For any new Venue Opening or Project, they are the owner of the initial budget, quoted estimate, and final stage of budgets for venue openings
  • Tracking and Reporting: Ensure that all spend is tracked during the programme and are responsible for reporting movements and updates
  • Reconciliation: Full reconciliation of costs provided at the end of every new venue opening or project
  • International Recharges: Ensure all projects are recharged to franchise partners in a timely manner

Travel

  • Occasional UK travel may be required for site visits or to manage on site installation for new venues and projects


Skills & Experience


  • 6 + years’ experience of working in a similar role and setting
  • Proven Project management and budget management experience
  • Proven experience in working across multiple work streams and projects concurrently
  • Proven experience of managing and building strong relationships with external suppliers to achieve the outcomes required
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Teams a plus
  • A strong understanding of creative studio processes
  • Proven knowledge of technical detailing and production processes
