About the team and the role:
The Regulatory Initiative has the mission to oversee the design and implementation of customer-centric solutions in response to new requirements resulting from new regulations. The team’s mission is to be customer-first and ensure any changes to our product or communications are delivering the best possible experience for the customer!
The team works cross-functionally with many teams in the organisation (markets, legal, tax, product, marketing, GCX etc) to ensure successful design and delivery of regulatory-driven changes with a customer focus in mind. We aspire to not only deliver against new requirements with the least customer friction but, where possible, to solve long-standing customer problems.
We are looking for a Program Manager, Regulatory Initiative on a 6 month fixed term contract.
What you will accomplish:
Lead end-to-end delivery of solutions for a set of regulations or related horizontal topics
Develop a clear understanding of requirements and impact, working with Tax, Legal, Government Relations, Finance and Analytics
Own the Business Requirements for these projects and work collaboratively with Product, Marketing, and customer support counterparts to ensure solutions are scoped, designed and implemented
Own the relationship with impacted Business Units (e.g. countries, Exports team, etc.) to ensure key collaborator feedback is obtained and solutions aligned
Coordinate with the PMOs/ teams of each workstream involved (e.g. Product, Tax, GCX)
Project/ Programme management experience and/ or consulting experience; ideally in an international organisation on large-scale projects, influencing partners across a range of functions and/ or e-commerce is a plus
Experience communicating complex topics to senior audiences, driving decision making, and involving all team members appropriately
Experience leading cross-functional teams and achieving results through collaboration and influence
A great teammate, who is energetic, flexible, and comfortable with navigating through ambiguity in a trust-based, human way
Manage team members effectively: e.g., regular communications, Steering Committees to drive decision making)
