Why this job matters:
The Project Professional supports the planning, execution and delivery of complex projects through all specific phases, in alignment with BT Group strategies and external customer contractual requirements.
The LBG contract is one of the largest accounts in UK MNC which is valued over £1bn revenue over a 7 year contract. The role of the project manager will be to lead and manage the delivery of complex programmes and projects into the customer’s organisation. The portfolio will consist of circa 50 projects with a value of £5-10m revenue. The role holder will be accountable for achieving the milestones, driving improvement, improving efficiency, generate revenue and drive profitability. The role holder will also be accountable for the stakeholder engagement with the senior manager within the bank (platform owners).
What you’ll be doing:
  • Deliver Complex projects or related Orders with internal or external suppliers, which have got firm scope and delivery timescales impacting costs\revenue.
  • Responsible for jeopardy management, escalations, KCIs, resolution of new changes, modifications and Ceases
  • Manage service Inventory updates via Expedio OM etc. and support in creation of weekly standard delivery reports.
  • Delivery and management of the Test & Turn-up changes for projects (excluding End-to-End project management for Mid to Large CSR's
  • Support ORT and related tasks management support for CSR's.
Experience you would be expected to have:
  • Experience of delivering Medium & Complex project/s as part of a larger project and a proven record of successful delivery.
  • Should have overall experience of at least 3+ years particular in Project Management domain.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and telecom products & services.
  • High standard of written and spoken English.
  • Competence in Windows based tools (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access)
  • Escalation management and complaint handling.
  • Should be PMP or Prince 2 Certified.
