British Library Publishing has transformed in the last decade into one of the foremost institutional publishers of exciting, innovative and beautifully produced trade books for the mainstream book market and heritage/gift sector. We’re now looking for an inspired Publishing Assistant to provide administrative support for all areas of the Publishing business, with specific focus on sales, digital, marketing, royalties and metadata. This role also provides social media and publicity support across the list and provides a wealth of opportunities to contribute to the growth of our programme in the UK and internationally. Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the book publishing industry is a preferred requirement for this position. This full-time role is based in the inspiring setting of the British Library building.
