At a glance:
  • Salary range - The budgeted salary range for this role is set at £26,600 - £32,000 (dependant on experience) for externals / will follow the Partnership Secondment pay policy (for internals)
  • Contract type - This position is a Secondment/Fixed Term contract until the end of January 2025
  • Number of vacancies to fill - 7
  • Working pattern/flexible working - We know flexible working is important to you, and it is important to us too. The Partnership has adopted a blended working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Retail Media team aim for around 1-2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this.
  • Location - This role is based at our London Head Office campus. Please note, any cost incurred as a result of travel to the office is the responsibility of the successful candidate. There is no travel allowance for this role.
  • Please note, The normal place of work for this role is Victoria, London pending the relocation of the London office to Pimlico during the summer of 2024 after which the normal place of work will become Pimlico, London.
About the role:
Retail Media has been identified as a key enabler of profit growth across JLP and is a priority for the Partnership. We are at the start of an exciting transformation journey to evolve our capability in this space in order to help deliver more personalised experiences to delight our customers and create compelling and impactful Retail Media propositions for our Supplier partners.
To deliver against this ambition, we need to accelerate our Retail Media maturity and curate and develop a market-leading and differentiated portfolio of propositions across the JLP portfolio.
As Retail Media Campaign Executive, you will support the Senior executives & broader retail media campaign team to deliver the annual calendar of initiatives agreed with suppliers and develop dedicated campaigns for all suppliers. This will include defining the brief and briefing into channels for activation. You will support the coordination of supplier participation in brand and
seasonal campaigns with the Brand / Seasonal campaign teams.
You will assist the monitoring of the performance of your supplier funded campaigns, supporting the preparation of PCA reports to inform Retail Media Sales team conversations for the plans for the following year. You'll be organised, adept in working with insight and customer segmentation, always with an eye on marketing channel effectiveness and driving outcomes for our suppliers.
You will have a thorough understanding of and a passion for marketing, making use of a variety of marketing best practice to meet objectives set. You'll have strong commercial acumen, natural ability with insight and data and work well under-pressure.
Your ability to deliver compelling presentations will be regularly used and you will be a collaborative and proactive team
Key responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of the annual calendar of initiatives for suppliers
  • Support the delivery of defined elements within an overall marketing campaign, including the definition of the brief, the channel and media plan, message hierarchy, creative execution, all the way through to delivery of the activity itself being on time and on budget.
  • Work with brand/ seasonal campaign teams to coordinate supplier participation in brand and seasonal campaigns
  • Monitor performance of the supplier funded campaigns and support the preparation of PCA reports.
  • Build partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to ensure delivery of agreed milestones
  • Activate the proposition ensuring efficient delivery of capability
  • Report on the success of the activity and communicate this regularly.
Essential skills you’ll need:
  • Evidence of customer orientation, effective stakeholder management and planning and prioritisation
  • Experience working with projects and managing Stakeholders
  • Evidence in strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience working with data, insight and analytics
Desirable skills you’ll have:
  • Relevant marketing campaign management experience
  • Relevant experience supporting within a retail media environment
  • Further qualifications in marketing or business
