Reporting to the Account Manager, this role is for a Senior Account Executive position sitting as part of the Culture team. We are building a dynamic, responsive and collaborative team, aimed to find solutions and unique ways of working to create an optimal workflow between agency and client to deliver both best in class media executions and client servicing.
The role will be working across clients including the likes of UKTV, UMG & Remy and all core clients to the team. There is a heavy focus on brand media, across all media channels. Across each working closely with the clients and client creative partners to create integrated campaign activations.
Success in role requires a blend of experience, intelligence and talent in multi-discipline media, client management, market liaison and commercial opportunities. As a key member of a talented team you will be involved in the development and application of planning principles, innovation and media best practices, media performance support, reporting, training and brand strategy. Your role will involve working directly with clients, agency partners and internal specialist agency divisions.
The position requires a minimum of 1-2 years working within a media agency environment. We need an enthusiastic and pro-active candidate who is accustomed to the pressures and quick turnarounds of all media. The candidate should showcase specific skills and experience relating to media buying and planning and must show a proficient level of knowledge in this discipline. Experience in managing campaigns, and familiarity with insight tools such as TGI, Comscore, YouGov etc. would be beneficial. We are also looking for someone who is creative and heart – can think of big and innovative ideas and has the skills to go and put these ideas out into the real world. The candidate should also be comfortable at ensuring media bookings are put onto the finance system in an accurate and timely manner and that internal PO trackers and campaign laydowns are kept up to date.
Due to the nature of our agency and business, the candidate must have good communication skills; able to multi-task to an exceptional level; good organisational skills and understand that a high level of service to our clients is expected. They should also be a creative thinker – someone who is willing to put forward smart, innovative and creative ideas to help address our client’s challenges.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Assist the team on campaign planning and buying across clients
Trafficking digital campaigns accurately and on-time.
Pull together reports based on advertising campaigns to submit to clients.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive competitive data reports with insightful observations and analysis.
Ensure all campaigns are set up on the finance system and reconciled on deadline.
Managing some of the day-to-day communications with the client and cultivating strong relationships with the client.
Day to day campaign implementation and set-up of client campaigns.
Help the team adapt plans when circumstances change (release dates, budgets) and brief media owners accordingly.
Ensuring all standard client requirements are delivered correct and on time (contact reports, monthly competitive reviews, online status reports).
Responsible for the finance admin and processes – putting bookings on the system, checking against plans, managing the PO tracker, reconciling media spends.
Maintaining a thorough understanding of your clients’ sector and market trends,
Ensure a pro-active and collaborative approach to working with the internal teams is always upheld.
Attendance of regular team and agency update meetings to share plans, share experience, and discuss possible area’s plans can approve.
Work closely with the specialist teams at Havas to deliver brilliant, innovative campaigns.
