Key role: The Senior Creative's job is to interpret the client's brief for not only set and stage design but also the event flow/audience journey in its entirety. They conceptualize the idea, design it, and then turn it into reality by working alongside the production team. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the event industry.
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Ideating marketing strategies for activations, pop-ups, launches, conferences, awards
• Providing creative direction for pitches or a project, including mood boards to visually bring an idea to life.
• Venue/space design and mock-ups.
• Mapping customer journeys and floor plans.
• Creating pitch and sponsorship decks.
• Directing and managing a team of designers on larger projects to ensure creative alignment across the project.
• Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the realisation of the creative vision.
• Art direction and styling onset/during live production.
• Finding innovative ways to bring a creative idea to life and problem-solving.
• Print file generation/print management
• Understanding of lighting design, screens and integrating into the experience.
Key areas of responsibility:
Work alongside set builders to create detailed structural design drawings.
Work with appropriate teams of fabricators, lighting/sound
Attend Venue site visits.
