About Finance at THG

About the Role
The Group is a listed business with increasing corporate governance and accounting requirements worldwide. You will be reporting into the Director of Group Financial Planning & Analysis and support across our financial reporting and Group finance function.
The Corporate FP&A team are at the forefront of analytics and reporting for the Group, focusing on providing management detailed insight for corporate planning and decision-making. A group wide function which consolidates all knowledge of financial performance across all of the groups divisions.  Team includes a mix of practice and industry background individuals focused on providing accurate and timely analysis.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the management of the Group's Budget process liaising with each divisional / department lead to consolidate and challenge performance
  • Maintaining 3 way forecasting models at both a Group and Divisional level
  • Forecasting, reporting and being the financial lead on working capital performance on the group, with strong collaboration with wider finance teams (principally treasury, divisional CFOs, Shared service centre leads and the group CFO)
  • Ad hoc financial modelling and planning in relation to various corporate transactions (typically including acquisition, disposals, debt and equity raises, and material capital investments)
  • Supporting and providing mentorship to junior team members
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant with at least 4 years post qualified experience
  • Experience working within a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities and the need to be hands on and in the detail at all times
  • Experience with producing financial models utilising multiple data sources
  • Ability to work with Senior stakeholders
Desirable
  • Ideal for a second time mover from practice, or all experience in industry
  • Experience with Consolidation and Planning tools (Tagetik is used, but any relevant system is useful)
