As the Senior Internal Communications Manager - Argos Retail for Sainsbury's, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational and people change communications to our Argos retail leaders. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications - Retail & Change, your focus will be on driving progress against strategic commitments, colleague engagement, and customer satisfaction by ensuring Argos colleagues understand their role in delivering operational and people change aligned with our purpose and strategy. You will develop and deliver communications that form part of a compelling narrative, connecting everything we do to our purpose and strategy, and supporting leaders in effectively engaging their teams. This will involve delivering regular communications to Retail leaders, developing tools for face-to-face conversations with every colleague, and leading communication efforts for medium to large-scale operational change projects and people change initiatives in Argos. Additionally, you will work closely with key stakeholders, build relationships, and contribute to the measurement and continuous improvement of internal communications channels. Who you are
You are a skilled and experienced communicator with a strong background in internal communications within fast-paced and complex organisations. You possess a proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse teams, including senior leaders, and have a track record of creating and delivering effective communications for people change projects. With your excellent judgement, attention to detail, and clear and concise communication skills, you are able to advise stakeholders on the tone and delivery of communications while creating impactful content for various formats. Your understanding of the retail environment is highly advantageous, and your ability to handle large amounts of information in a time-sensitive environment allows you to prioritise and meet tight deadlines. Overall, you are a strategic and proactive professional who thrives in driving engagement and delivering compelling communications to support the goals and objectives of the organisation.
