The Global New Business & Marketing Team
As the Senior New Business Manager, you will be part of the Global New Business & Marketing team, based in London and led by Tracey Barber, Global Chief Transformation & Growth Officer.
Your primary role will be to drive and support:
  • Global growth activities for the Havas Creative Network
  • New Business pitches
  • Case study creation & management
  • Collaboration of and connection between our Villages across the global network
The role in detail
Reporting into our Associate Director of Global New Business, the Senior New Business Manager will play a key role in driving new business through our global network, bringing opportunitites into the business, managing RFI responses, playing a pivotal role with processes and logisitics, writing case studies, creating brilliant chemistry meetings and working across the entire creative agency network to ensure that pitches are won.
The network is focused on integration, so there will also be opportunities to work with all of the Village agencies within the UK as well as at a global level. As such, this role would suit someone who prefers an open and collaborative working style, with a global mindset.
Responsibilities would include:
New Business
  • Be one of the ‘go-to’ new business support people for our global creative network.
  • Play a central role in Global prospecting – crafting prospecting lists, pursuit strategies and activating against these.
  • Manage the process for RFIs/RFPs/Pitches ensuring the new business machine runs smoothly, quickly and efficiently.
  • Support on integrated RFI’s and pitches across the network.
  • Maintain the New Business library so that information is easily accessible, including RFI submissions, pitch decks and case studies.
  • You will manage creative network agency case studies, this includes managing the library of existing materials, working with the rest of the new business team (and local market agencies / new business leads) to identify new case studies, manage creation and storage.
  • Working alongside the new business team, you’ll help to craft credentials decks for client meets and internal decks for leadership meetings, village collaboration meetings and ad hoc requests.
Key areas of ownership
  • Be 100% aware of all new business opportunities, including briefs, credentials, chemistry meetings and RFIs – and help to push these forward on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure that you have your finger on the pulse of new business externally, emerging trends, what is happening globally within and outside of Havas, keep reading and learnings so that we can constantly improve our process and way of working.
  • Ensuring that you support and push the teams to follow best practice and deliver on time.
  • Leading and managing the case study library and creation of best-in-class materials.
We are looking for
  • 3+ years of working in the industry (creative agencies, interemediaries). Network agency experience is a bonus, but not required.
  • A strong communicator who is keen to work with multiple stakeholders, globally.
  • Someone who makes things happens and likes to be accountable.
  • Someone who can drive internal engagement and promote new business within the agency.
  • A confident self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your own workload, deadlines and priorities.
  • Proven organisational skills and work in an agile and accommodating way.
  • Bring passion and energy to the team; always looking for ways to improve what we do and work better together.
  • A team player who shows willingness to support the agency and be collaborative. Someone that rolls their sleeves up and is happy to get stuck in.
  • Attention to detail to make sure we deliver outstanding work that we are proud of.
  • Confidence to be able to deal with the most senior level stakeholders.
