And we do it all right here at Sky.
What you’ll do
Global Streaming Product Team
Our team is the core engine that creates streaming products which delight customers around the world, from sub-Saharan Africa to the streets of New York: we work closely with our design, technology, and business teams to create an unforgettable experience for our customers. We’re the problem solvers who find smarter and simpler ways to connect customers to more of what they love.
We are currently building a Global Streaming Product team, who will steer our core global product to service the business needs of each proposition (Peacock, NOW, Sky Showtime and Showmax). In the heart of the growth strategy for each proposition is our partnerships, whether global ecosystem players (like Apple, Amazon, Google), Telcos (like BT, Deutsche Telecom), MVPDs or other 3rd parties (like Samsung, LG). As we move to a new era for our platform we seek to bring consistency in our Partner agreements, so that the Product team is able to execute standardised, repeatable integrations to reduce time to market and deliver value faster to our customers. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Product Lead to join our Partnerships team, create value and bring your insights into real change for our business and customers.
This role reports to the Head of Product, Partnerships.
Key responsibilities:
  • You will be part of our London based Global Streaming team, supporting multiple partners throughout all stages of onboarding them onto our Partner Gateway.
  • Drive the vision for optimising the core capabilities of the Partner Gateway, to ensure it supports our partners and the business need – to deliver high value partnerships with a standardised solution.
  • Build a process to support the analysis and reporting for our partnerships, helping evaluate overall partnership execution, success and where we may need to improve things.
  • Understand the different requirements for our partner onboarding journeys across all propositions and use these to drive the platform strategy.
  • Contribute to the creation of an operating model for how our team can support each of our owned platforms & our partner propositions with our Partner Gateway and other repeatable capabilities to optimise and drive partnerships commercially.
  • Act as the primary liaison for third parties we collaborate with, ensuring alignment on new features and managing new development effectively.
  • Maintain a high-level view of how we continuously improve processes & working practices, balancing costs and benefits when evaluating possible solutions.
What you’ll bring:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with 3rd party integration partners, with a proven track record of delivering successful billing integrations.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and formulating a product strategy.
  • Strong technical acumen, including the ability to understand how our external vendors operate, with a solid understanding of back-end technology to help shape & define requirements.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a track record of identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Experience in defining requirements through workshops & discussions with internal teams and external vendors & partners.
  • Previous experience in managing relationships in a partner-facing role, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
  • The drive to get things done and make a difference, coupled with the ability to maintain focus on the bigger picture during challenging times.
