About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, you will assume ownership of the global SEO strategy and direction whilst also supporting the overall digital strategy for wework.com. You will be responsible for one of our key traffic-driving channels to wework.com, collaborating with several cross-functional teams to design and implement changes aimed at enhancing overall search traffic and conversion. You will also be a key figure in the development of campaign landing pages and will strive to improve website UX. Your role is pivotal within the Digital team at WeWork.
This role can be based in London or New York, working globally in conjunction with peers in the Digital and Performance marketing team.

Responsibilities
  • Maximize WeWork’s visibility across all relevant search engines in the US, EMEA and Pacific regions. Use that visibility to drive traffic and leads for the business.
  • Update keyword research and strategy, identifying opportunities for content alignment with business, marketing, and e-commerce objectives
  • Work with the digital team, SEO agency, and Technology partners to surface and rectify technical issues across the website that impact SEO and website performance. This includes providing guidance in the development of new website pages that ensure best-in-class SEO set up.
  • Conduct SEO experiments across locales, using rigorous approaches and measurement methods (A/B tests, statistical methods) and proving their effectiveness.
  • Own WeWork locations listings across all available map platforms. Be responsible for the accuracy of the listings
  • Manage SEO agency relationships and be accountable for agency performance, delivery and reporting/operational processes
  • Work alongside the Performance Marketing team to support the Paid Media leads in maximizing cross-channel budget efficiencies.
  • Perform relentless investigation and monitoring of all steps in the search process and on site user experience in order to identify opportunities and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry changes and updates i.e. algorithm developments, ensuring that we are prepared for changes and more importantly, provide an expert view on these updates to share knowledge and keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of how SEO can impact business performance, determine the why and problem solve to inform the team roadmap.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media or related field preferred)
  • Minimum of +5 years of experience in organic search marketing
  • Thorough understanding across a range of industry tools, analytics platforms, and SEO techniques
  • Comprehensive understanding of the search landscape and some understanding of how algorithms changes impact our SEO performance
  • Experience managing locations on search engines, ideally through a tool such as Yext
  • A passion for understanding consumer behavior within search engines, how they search, why they click and how should a brand improve the likelihood of garnering that click
  • Knowledge of how content can influence SEO performance. Content creation experience is preferable
  • Knowledge or experience of working with a CMS such as WordPress, Contentful etc.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and HTML
  • Basic understanding of other marketing channels and tools (including paid search, website functionality, Salesforce)
