The role
This role plans and delivers activity for the ITV and ITVX accounts, across multiple social media platforms, either embedded in a matrix marketing team or delivering other platform or audience needs, to drive marketing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside other marketing, media and creative roles to deliver a marketing plan which drives desired outcomes.
  • Use specialist social media expertise and knowledge to enhance the strategic plans provided by the media strategists.
  • Act as the social media expert within each pod (if embedded), offering advice, learnings and ideas to drive performance and innovation.
  • Publish assets across a range of Social platforms, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
  • Work closely with creatives to ensure content is high quality, on brand, compliant, appropriate and performant on social media platforms.
  • Monitor performance and feedback learnings back to the wider social media team to paint an ongoing picture of what activity is performing best, to drive optimisation across the other pods.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
  • An ability to define and deliver social media activations for marketing, working towards clear outcomes and KPIs.
  • Strong understanding and curiosity towards the social platforms and the types of content that work best on each
  • Excellent editorial judgement and sensibilities.
  • Excellent copywriting, spelling and grammar skills
  • Good at understanding and interpreting data to aid decision making
