Mesmer are a company specialising in video and projection effects. Building on over three decades of experience Mesmer associates have designed Olivier and Tony award-winning shows. We have been consultants for The Royal Opera House, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The National Theatre and Disneyland, and we have been a long standing contributor to Alexander McQueen fashion shows and exhibitions. Our expertise crosses boundaries between projection and content playback, image creation and manipulation. This requires technical knowledge balanced with design skills and a creative problem solving approach. We have combined and developed our services working throughout the creative industries. This means we understand how projection relates to photography, or how live video playback relates to video post production methods. We understand cueing and resolution, frame rates and aesthetics, exposure and surface luminance. These are specialisms in different fields, but for us they are all integrated into how we work.
