Virgin Sport

Virgin Sport is a fitness event company founded in 2015 by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group with the purpose of moving the world through sport. Virgin Sport’s commitment to engaging all ages and abilities features running races, fitness festivals, free training runs and The School’s Challenge youth running initiative. Virgin Sport events provide over 50,000 competitive, recreational, and charity athletes annually with an opportunity to experience the culture and fitness trends of local communities. Over 400 different charities were involved in Virgin Sport events in 2018, with 25% of runners across the events raising money for charity,using their involvement in the races to raise awareness and an estimated £5 million for the causes that move them.
