DC's Elseworlds Urban City Sirens - Character Photoshoot: The Flash

The ElseWorlds comics and storyline is DC’s What if? in print exploring stories and situations that won’t affect the canon. Back in 2014, we came up with a similar idea and called it the Urban City Siren concept, a means for us to interpret the characters in a new and interesting light that was unique to us. This was my interpretation of the Flash character. Everything about this Flash is obviously about speed, but enhanced by Wing Chun which is also about speed but coupled with precision. Would like an East Asian Flash as its never been done and ties in nicely with the chosen martial art. Calm and serene looking this Flash looks unassuming and all the more powerful because of it. She is fast but stealthy and precise. Poses inspiration from Donnie Yen’s Ip Man and Zigi Zhang with character inspirations from Hinato of Naurto.

We had the costume designer for Dr Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers design and create this custom Flash outfit. The biker element is seen in the over lay jacket with the colour scheme inspired by the Earth-2 version of the Flash.
