'Sartorial Pearl'

The idea behind ‘Sartorial Pearl’ began from a photo by Peter Lindbergh, taken in 1986 of three models wearing trench coats on the beach who became the muses of the collection. Key details are trumpet and bubble sleeves, the smock silhouette as well as cinched waistlines and pearl-trimmed accents. Pleats and rouleau buttons also decorate the pieces with the latter detail being used in functional and non-functional methods. Key colours are sage and forest green, with wisteria lilac highlights sat back with traditional black and white. Spots and stripes add pattern and sets the mood for the collection.
